Power is transmitted by elastic rubber, which excels in absorbing vibrations and shocks, thereby reducing noise from machinery. The rubber part of the elastomer consists of polygonal rubber and aluminum inserts embedded at its vertices, each of which is firmly bonded through vulcanization. By bolting this rubber body to the cylindrical hub and flange hub in both radial and axial directions, power transmission through the rubber body is achieved.
